An homage to my new lucky number (a 128 novice's quest for answers)

I found a ten dollar bill on the ground only one and a half hours after spotting on the sidewalk a crisp white paper with bold black typed 128.  It looked as though it had fallen off the back of a jockey when the races passed through Manhattan Ave.  I regret that I did not have my camera. Is it a lucky number?  I didn't know so I thought I might do a bit of searching to find out.  And my results:

The Political Graveyard told me that in 01/1928 there were 13 politicians born, 1 marriage, 12 deaths, 23 centenaries, 9 transitions, and 1079 birthdays.

Vol. 67 of Science News 01/1928 discussed the collecting of folk songs by phonophotography.  Also in this volume; progenies from x-rayed sex cells of tobacco.

Tom Waits "Jockey Full of Bourbon" downloads at a 128 bitrate

But my favorite 128 tid bit was its Wikipedia entry.  "128 is the natural number following 127 and preceding 129"

So, I like bad commercials, really old wisened ladies, great photography,  tobacco, bourbon, expendable Wikipedia entries, and my wiser subconscious knows how attached I am to centenaries and phonophotoraphy.  And progenies......LUCKY NUMBER!

THis is not my mirror

Small bud light.  With a lid and straw.  But you.  You made me feel so empty.  It used to be so full.  Turkey's Nest. "to go" despite the door sign. Starving dry dumb dull.  From New York look at flavor pill why don't you.  Isn't that where it's really at? It was a mirror before wasn't it?   I'm taking my dollar back.
